I am an arts educator, somatic creative arts coach, and professional performing artist/choreographer. I have taught visual performing arts and acrobatics at over 50 different schools and studios in the Bay Area for over 15 years. I have been the Arts Specialist and Dance Teacher at The Nueva School for the past 10 years. I center connection, confidence, and mind-body coordination for diverse learners. Aerial, Arts & Acrobatics at Zaccho Studio, Bayview/South SF
July 13 - 17, 2026 | 9 am - 3pm
Grades 1st - 5th
Experience the joy of aerial arts with Helen at the beautiful Zaccho Studio, 1777 Yosemite Ave #330, SF, CA. Artists will have the chance to try new techniques on different aerial apparatuses. The days will begin with a thorough warm up to fun music that will include intro to acrobatics, choreography and coordination. Then artists will learn intro to aerial silks, hoop, trapeze, and rope & harness. After BYO lunch, artists will explore a visual art activity that integrates choreographic concepts of fluidity, form, rhythm, and shape. In the afternoons artists will dive into act creation to bring their stories to life on and off the ground.
Art, Dance, Theater // Creative Storytelling at Sunshine Art House Richmond District, SF
July 20 - 24 | 9 am - 3 pm
Ages 5 - 10
Explore and experiment with visual and performing arts in a weeklong integrated art dance and theater workshop this summer! Hosted at the magical Sunshine Art House, 4338 California St, Richmond District, SF, artists will begin the day with a physical warm up and creative movement class that culminates in fun choreography. After a mid morning snack, artists will dive into a daily visual art and sculpture class to create masks, puppets, wands, crowns and prop creation. After lunch the group will transform into a theater ensemble, play improv games and develop characters that will culminate on the final day in a mini performance!

K-5th
Hosted at San Mateo's Principle Performing Arts Academy (HWY 92 & El Camino Real), the day will begin with movement and choreography class to warm up and will be followed by an acrobatics class with mats to safely learn the joys and techniques of handstands, cartwheels, round offs, bridges, walkovers, and contemporary dance acro. After lunch on the roof deck (umbrellas for shade) artists will engage in an afternoon art project. Artistic projects will relate to the choreographic dance concepts from the morning sessions. This camp is full of opportunities for artists to develop their unique styles on the stage and the page.
